Mega Stones

Mega Evolution is part of PBO’s battles. A Pokémon Mega Evolves when it holds its own Mega Stone: Garchompite for Garchomp, Gardevoirite for Gardevoir and so on. This page lists every stone you can get today, how to get it, and the few you can’t.

Battle move selection with the Mega Evolve option for a Garchomp holding Garchompite
A Pokémon holding its Mega Stone gets the Mega Evolve option in battle.

The key item for Mega Evolution, the Mega Bracelet, comes from Steven on Southern Island in Hoenn.

Southern IslandSteven gives you the Mega Bracelet here.

Some Mega Stones are banned in certain ranked tiers, so check a tier’s rules before you build a Ranked PvP team around one. Seasonal stones are listed at the end.
