Project T.E.R.A. (Silph Co.)

Team Rocket has taken over Silph Co. in Saffron City again, this time experimenting on Porygon with an old prototype called Project T.E.R.A. Clear the building to win money, Blaze Coins and a chance at pieces of the Armored Mewtwo set. (Despite the name, Terastallization is not part of this.)

At a glance

• Starts: Dr. Cipher, Silph Co. 1F (near the stairs)
• You need: Kanto Champion (Champion Gary beaten)
• Battles: five grunts (levels 86–96), then one of four leaders (level 100)
• Reward: 10,000 F, Blaze Coinx10 and one random item
• Repeatable: every 3 days: after a run, Dr. Cipher is ready again at midnight UTC 3 days later

Dr. Cipher starts Project T.E.R.A. on Silph Co. 1F.

How a run works

1. Talk to Dr. Cipher. He is on Silph Co. 1F. Agree to help, and the Rocket members appear in the building.

2. Beat the five grunts. There is one per floor from 3F to 7F:

3. Find the leader. Each run, one of four leaders is waiting on the upper floors. They only battle you after all five grunts are beaten. All their Pokémon are level 100.

4. Collect your reward. The leader pays out when you win.

• TM120 Psychic, TM129 Calm Mind, TM161 Trick Room, TM218 Expanding Force
• TM018 Thief, TM030 Snarl or TM043 Fling (Archer and James only)
• one or two Armored Mewtwo pieces, depending on the leader:

Armored Mewtwo

Collect all six pieces (Mask, Shirt, Pants, Gloves, Shoes and Tail). Take them, with a Mewtwo you caught yourself, to Muldoon, Dr. Fuji’s research assistant on Pokémon Mansion 2F in Cinnabar Island. He uses the pieces to turn your Mewtwo into Armored Mewtwo.
