Find a priest. Each priest is somewhere that fits his dog’s type. Talk to him and he battles you to test your strength. See the three priests below.
-
Beat the priest. His dog then appears in Jvaloh as a roaming Pokémon. Use the Roaming Pokemon Tracker (top right of the screen) to see where it is.
-
Switch dogs if you like. Only one dog can roam for you at a time. After a win, all three priests need 14 days to gather their energy. Once that time has passed, beat a different priest to switch to his dog, or beat the same one again.
If you lose, you can try again straight away.

- All three teams hit hard and use held items. Bring a full team of level 100 Pokémon and plenty of healing items.
- Each team mixes many types, so there is no single counter. Plan for the dog itself (Water, Electric or Fire) as the last Pokémon.
- The roaming dog is a normal wild encounter, so ordinary Poké Balls work. Bring status moves and a False Swipe user to make the catch easier.
