The Hoenn Daycare
PBO’s Daycares do not raise your Pokémon for you. Instead, each region’s Daycare has an attendant who wants to see a new Pokémon you caught yourself once a day, and pays you in Daycare Tokens.
This page covers the Hoenn Daycare. Sinnoh (Solaceon Day Care) and Kanto (the Daycare Centre on Route 5) work the same way, each with its own list of Pokémon and the same token shop. For how the Daycares work in every region, see Daycare.
Which Pokémon count
Section titled “Which Pokémon count”
Breeder Tia only accepts Pokémon that are:
- on her Hoenn list (below)
- caught by you (you are the original trainer) in Hoenn
- level 25 or higher
- never shown to her before
Showing a Pokémon does not take it away; you keep it.

The Pokémon must still be that species when you show it, so do not evolve it first.

A level 85 Pokémon with all 510 EVs allocated earns 45 tokens. Breeder Tia can show you how many tokens each of your eligible Pokémon would earn before you choose.

A few highlights:
- Gold Amulet evolves
Gimmighoul into 
Gholdengo. Gimmighoul comes from the Gimmighoul Chest; see The Hex Maniacs of Mt. Pyre. - Scroll of Darkness and Scroll of Waters evolve
Kubfu into 
Urshifu (Single Strike or Rapid Strike). Kubfu can come from the Fuchsia dojo; see Fighting Dojos. - TM500 Hidden Power is needed for the Saffron dojo’s Hidden Power shards.
- The Power items help with EV training.
Daily battle: Breeder Mia
Section titled “Daily battle: Breeder Mia”Breeder Mia in the Daycare battles you once a day with one of four teams of six low-level Hoenn Pokémon (levels 15–18) and pays 750 F.
