Metagrossite

Steven’s Metagrossite has shattered into three pieces. Two of them are rare drops from wild Pokémon and one is guarded by a strong trainer team. This quest takes luck rather than a Champion battle.

Walkthrough

Section titled “Walkthrough”

  1. Visit Steven. After you become Hoenn Champion, go to Steven’s House in Mossdeep City with a self-caught Beldum, Metang or Metagross in your party. Steven tells you the Metagrossite has shattered and sends you to the Fossil Maniac. Tracker quest: Metagrossite Recovery (Part 1).

Steven only appears in his house while you have one of those Pokémon with you and do not already carry all three fragments.

  2. Talk to the Fossil Maniac. He is in Fallarbor Town House #2 and tells you where the three fragments are. Tracker quest: Metagrossite Recovery (Part 2).

  • Beldum is an Ultra Rare encounter in Hoenn Victory Road (B1F) and in Kanto’s Cerulean Cave. See Hoenn Pokémon locations.
  • Fishing levels go up as you fish; see Fishing.
