Items on the ground in Sinnoh

Sinnoh’s routes, caves and buildings hold 55 items you can pick up. Almost all of them lie on the ground in Poké Balls, and none of them are hidden.

An item ball on the ground on Route 207, with the player standing next to it
Stand next to an item ball and press the action button to pick it up.
  • Item balls: stand next to the Poké Ball and press the action button (on a phone, tap it). Each ball disappears for you once you have it.
  • Respawning Rare Candies: these balls come back for you 4 days after you pick one up. They are also listed under every few days.
  • Quest items: the Dog Collar in Eterna Forest and the Mansion Key on Route 212 (South) belong to Sinnoh’s small quests. They only appear once the quest sends you there, and the Mansion Key is held by a Cleffa instead of lying in a ball.

The list is generated from the game files, so it stays up to date.

  • Old TMs. The items marked “(old)” are old-generation TMs. Upgrade them before you teach them; see old TMs need upgrading.
  • Hidden items. Besides these balls, the server hides Blaze Chests and Dragon Balls on random outdoor maps every few hours. See hidden items lie on outdoor maps.
  • TMs. Where to get every TM, not only the ones on the ground, is in TMs and move tutors.
