Blaze Coins
The
Blaze Coin is PBO’s everyday reward currency. Wild Pokémon, trainers, gyms and challenges all pay a few Blaze Coins, and the Blaze Coin Shop turns them into evolution stones, Choice items, IV items and TMs.

Ways to earn Blaze Coins
Section titled “Ways to earn Blaze Coins”Wild Pokémon
Section titled “Wild Pokémon”Any wild Pokémon can drop Blaze Coins when you defeat or catch it. How many you get depends on its rarity:
| Rarity | Blaze Coins per drop |
|---|---|
| Common, Uncommon | 1 |
| Rare | 3 |
| Very Rare | 5 |
| Ultra Rare | 10 |
| Legendary | 15 |
- A drop is never guaranteed. Defeating a Pokémon usually gives a better chance than catching it.
- A party leader with a high Item Drop Rate Boost skill raises the chance further.
- In a horde, only defeating the horde gives drops.
- The Pokémon locations pages show each area’s rarities, so you can hunt rarer Pokémon for bigger drops.
