Monthly traders
Eight NPCs only do business on one day of the month. Four in Sinnoh swap a Pokémon you bring for a different one. Four more, spread over Sinnoh, Jvaloh and Hoenn, sell TMs, held items and a Pokémon chest for money.
Pokémon traders
Section titled “Pokémon traders”Bring the Pokémon in the “You give” column to the trader on their day and they swap it for the one in “You get”.
| Day | Trader | You give | You get |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7th | Helena Lost Tower #5, Sinnoh | Croagunk, level 40+ | Vullaby |
| 14th | Mikiao Global Terminal 1F, Sinnoh | Heracross, level 40+ | Growlithe |
| 21st | Khali Iron Island B3F 1, Sinnoh | Mawile, level 40+ | Timburr |
| 28th | Noelle Lake Acuity, Sinnoh | Clamperl, level 40+ | Corphish |
- The Pokémon you give must be level 40 or higher and in your party.
- It has to be that exact species, not its evolution. Croagunk, for example, wants to evolve at level 37: say no when the game asks whether it should evolve.
- Have only one Pokémon of that species at level 40 or above in your party, plus at least one other Pokémon.
- It doesn’t need to be one you caught yourself. Anything it was holding goes back to your Bag.
- You can trade as many times as you like on the day. On any other day the trader only tells you to come back.
Item traders
Section titled “Item traders”These traders sell for money (F). Each one only shows up on its day, and only serves you if your party has the Pokémon they ask for, caught by you. They only want to see it; you keep it.
